Hello all! Hope everyone had a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving. I know from the added girth around my waist that our time in the Sonoma valley was very good.
For any Boilermaker alum or residents of Indiana we found the Kokomo winery and no, this is has nothing to do with the Beach Boys, and yes, it has to do with Kokomo, IN. Next to the Kokomo winery is the Papa Pietro Perry winery. Their Pinot Noir and Zinfandel wines we sampled are, IMHO, exceptional.
Why do you have to 'put your two cents in'... but it's only a 'penny for your thoughts'? Where's that extra penny going to?
Why does a round pizza come in a square box?
What disease did cured ham actually have?

I remember the Dobbs catering vehicles. Before Gate Gourmet took them over in 1999, I thought they did a decent job. Just seeing that truck did make me want a slice of Black Bottom Pie from Dobbs/Toddle House and a quick trip to the Gridiron for a Palm Beach.

LH had me pay $200 to fly out one day early, in a half full flight, when my mom had a heart attack and was hospitalized.
Thanksgiving came and went. Lounge Lizards and Lizardettes safely traveled to various points with the exception of UP who turned around and went home to prepare jfe a meal after seeing a "Jesus is coming" sign.

I managed to get through Thanksgiving and still be under 200 pounds.
