MikeMpls a proper christian name based on Hebrew "mikaplois", which means "Travel on Delta Sucks". MikeMpls is a greek version of Michaelopolis.

It's a colder -27F. Today it has warmed slightly, to only -22F.

Not much wind, thankfully.

I'm stuck in -22F on an NWA DC-9 this week. Waiting till the -24H window to try for a roach choice seat. Annoying system.
Two of my three other segments did get the U/G, but they didn't e-mail me to let me know. Sorry, redtail loyalists, but the old DL always treated me better and kept me more informed.

Michaelopolis would be a city of Michaels, just as Crocodilopolis is a city of crocodiles, although in the latter case they are Crocodile mummies. Could you handle a city of Michaels? Or a city of Michael mummies?

Being a PM you still might get lucky, and it is always good to be lucky.

And prior to the merger, NW treated us former NWers better, and kept us more informed too. I guess we both got the best of both....

39,764 SkyMiles (without a Delta CC or ever having set foot on a DL airplane) this year.

Not too bad.

Congratulations. If you register him for Delta Skymiles right away, he gets his first 1000 miles free.

Do you cross multiple time zones east to west, so you can celebrate several times, and in between travel back in time to the previous year?

Immersing the young 'un right away Cornroaster? Congrats skchin!

BTW, I apologize to the Lounge for the number of Star Alliance elite statuses I have over on my left side. Maybe I should go boxing instead.

Actually, I'm trying to avoid having to celebrate anything. If flightaware is any guide, I should jump from about 23:30 PST to 0:30 MST.

Does that get you 2009 MQMs or 2010 MQMs?
