If it is the cereal, one cannot help notice how obviously and painfully ironic it is for a mikey to tell someone else to get a Life...
He likes it! Hey, mikey...

There was a car accident in the parking lot of my hotel a few minutes ago. I called the front desk and the girl said she'd check it out. She sounded very bored about the whole thing. I don't hear anyone out there anymore and the police haven't showed up.... maybe I'm hearing things.

Slow here, too, ....
I've been on hold with Expedia for most of the last half hour while they've been on hold with Delta (at least twice) while I try to lengthen an 11-minute connection at ATL. They keep wanting me to fly MSP-CVG-STL instead of MSP-ATL-CVG-STL. I think that's just downright unreasonable!
Meanwhile, my head's been resting on my hand and my elbow's been resting on the desk and my arm is getting numb.

But I finally got an earlier flight for MSP-ATL. They wouldn't agree to put me on 10:15 NW codeshare so I had to settle for an 8:39 TonkaJet. Now I just have to pray for a bulkhead seat.
Also noticed (sadly, perhaps) that DL's fares are no higher than they were a year ago for my most traveled DL route. I had no qualms about paying $20-30 more but they're basically back to where they were last spring.

DL's fares are consistently about 50-100 more than CO/NW's here from the IAH market, this has been the case since they shut down the DFW hub, so the view varies by market.....

...from this milepost:
mikey1003, it is up to the guests of The Lounge to give it as much impact and pizzazz as they like!
In other words, it is up to you!
Now, in terms of pizzazz, there is plenty and they are over there. There is cheese, pepperoni, sausage, anchovy, meatball, and many other varieties. There is regular, deep-dish, thin crust, Sicilian, and many other varieties.
You can top your pizzazz with Cholula hot sauce. We have every version of Cholula hot sauce and seasoning in The Lounge currently available, plus a few varieties that neither Cholula nor Novamex know about yet, including Lemon Dill Cholula, Cholula Blackened Dry Seasoning and Ragin Cajun Cholula.
Remember, you heard it here first.

Now that Cholula's retired.
Cholula, the man...not the sauce, and I have been writing back and forth about retirement. I still have several years, but wanted an idea as to what to expect.
He sent me a lovely letter, in it was the following:
"Mikey, working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days interesting.
Well for example, the other day I went into town and went to a store.
I was only in there for about five minutes. When I came out there was a policeman writing out a parking ticket.
I said to him, "Come on , how about giving a senior citizen a break?" He ignored me and continued writing the ticket. I called him a *****. He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having worn tires.
So I called him a piece of dog sh*t. He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first.
Then he started writing a third ticket.
The more I abused him, the more tickets he wrote.
This went on for about twenty minutes.
Personally, I didn't give a damn. I came into town by bus.
I try to have a little fun each day now that I'm retired.
It's important at my age."
