refreshments

Ok, so....I flew BOS -- MCO....2.5 hr flt. CO in F -- Meal. DL -- Refreshments. What are refreshments? The same refreshments offered on ATL - EWR.

That would be the F snack basket. I totally expected more. Snack = snack basket.

OTOH, next week I"m flying LGA - MSP. A319, and I'll get lunch. Since it is a 2 hr flight, I'm guessing a sandwich.

Dave

Just like my LAS-JFK redeye where I got unlimited rounds of the the snack basket. I wish DL would return the "Snack" sandwiches/wraps for the late night flights. Even the Y BOB was nothing more than a box of snacks.

Finished a great little project this morning. Our kitchen had all recessed "can" lights. I have seen these before, I just didn't want to part with 80 bucks a piece for them. I went into my favorite little salvage store this morning and there they were, $10.00 each.

Pretty cool, unscrew the light bulb and this screws in where the bulb was. Slide the blanking plate up, righten, and finished.

I like the look - for $60 and little effort, that's nice. Does the remainder of the can light assembly stay in place (in case a way-off-in-the-future potential future buyer prefers)? Now you're going to have me going to ReStore next week.

Also - interesting new signature line. I am intrigued by your ideas and wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

Thanks, ^

The only thing that comes out of the old light is the bulb.

They had several at the salvage store, I can get you some and mail them, if you like.

Great picture. Any way you could share the name of the product?

Great! You wait until after the DO to spruce up the kitchen. Were you afraid we were going to swing from them?

Appreciate the offer but the kitchen in my Craftsman cottage (although a moderate size) is configured like a Craftsman cottage (appliances / cabinets on three walls, walk in pantry on the other). Would need about a $12,000 renovation to move a wall and create an island / otherwise avoid walking into the pendant lights

No danger at all. The guns are real but they are firing black powder blanks which have a range of about 15 feet. So you have to be fairly close to the balloon for the hot powder to actually burn the balloon.

Even at that, as the guns are real, the organizers are always extremely keen on safety. For example, people can bring their own weapons but the ammunition is usually supplied by the organization.

Most everyone wears earplugs, and so do the horses.

The local group is hosting newbies in a couple of weeks and I hope to get down there and try it out.
