Who have I not welcomed to The Lounge™ yet, and how many unique FlyerTalk members have posted to The Lounge™ up until now?I insist that it is absolutely, 100%, out-of-the-question impossible for me to make it.Nah...

god why don't delta send me a free upgrade!!!! I mean I fly 4 times a year lol, but I do have a flight in uh hum 7 DAYS.....I'm not counting or anything LOL

BTW, ATH was my first international trip 25 or 30 years ago and I flew it in DL FC when they still had three classes of service internationally.
ATH remains to this day the most difficult place I've ever traveled language-wise and I've been to many strange and exotic places.
Outside of our hotel we never found one person who could speak a word of English and all the signs, menus and the like were in Greek so you couldn't even guess at the meaning like you can in France, Germany, Italy, etc.
In restaurants we just waited until the waiter walked by with something that looked good and then point at it and then point at our mouth.
We ate some strange stuff that week.

I was lucky enough to get upgraded to C (F in two class domestic) for most of my flights in those days.I've never been to Greece so this Do sounded like a good idea. Now I'm not so sure.
That's the best attitude for getting through travel.

That clearly explains why nobody spoke English and, as far as all those Greek signs are concerned, what the heck were you doing prowling around the University of Georgia's Sorority Row?
You don't have to go to Greece to do that. In my experience, women can accomplish it anywhere in the world.
