Sitting here in the SLC SkyClub waiting for my crew, then MX delayed flight to board.
An hour ago we boarded an MD90 to SFO and, 2 minutes after getting my Pre Departure BEverage, we were told there was a technical fault and we needed a new plane.
Downside was that we went from an MD90 to a 737... so we're waiting for a new crew

That said, I'm glad you said "no" to the salesmen. If you decide you are interested, check for resales. Perhaps even ask at the desk (check-in, not sales). My sis found her unit via a bulletin board flyer near the laundry room in the basement of the complex.

Isn't there also the 73Q, or is that the 76Q?

Not that I see.
I must be seeing things that are non-existent; those polynesian drinks really do a number...

It must be a conspiracy! As soon as my glass is empty, another appears in front of me...I figured I should start a collection of those umbrellas...

1. Does mom know you imbibe?
2. As you pointed out you can 'mask' your drinks in the SC which will help offset any reduction in the air. How long is the flight? One drink every 45 minutes give or take 15 minutes? Depending upon the length of the flight I might go heavy in the SC and early in the flight then taper off. Travel safe.

Unfortunately, our 73H became a 73Y, so we lost our AVOD Still beat 11 hours on the 744 though! Probably because I wasn't sitting next to some sketchy porn producer this time.
Oh this would be such a bad idea. Better that she just silently judge me.

Sounds like the masking approach is the way to go. I basically did that at the SC, club soda pre flight, wine with dinner (cleverly refilled before empty), then tea.

As for the 1am slc-sfo, no tv's but they did give every pas $100 voucher for the delay,2 plane swaps, 2 crew swaps and 3 gate changes. The slc team provided REALLY best in class irops handling. Had 2 redcoats, 3 ga's and broiight snacks and drinks out and set them up.

Re: beverages
The pomegranate martini that DL offers is not too bad... at least not a typical offering I get elsewhere. And I have requested the mixer with Sprite ^

Well we are getting ready to fly to IND then off to the family farm where Internet has yet to be discovered Not sure how frequently I will get to say Good Morning to The Lounge, The Mansion and The Grotto until our return next week so Good Morning to The Lounge, The Mansion and The Grotto. I hope everyone has a wonderful day, weekend and or week in The Lounge, The Mansion and or The Grotto. Downside is cell service around the farm is so poor sometimes I can not even use my Blackberry to say Good Morning to The Lounge, The Mansion and The Grotto. Till our return - Good Morning to The Lounge, The Mansion and The Grotto.
