I'm not bumping this thread, because it's still on page 1.

This can be a good sign for upgrades (I found out earlier today that my SM# was not linked correctly) because the fare brackets for DL2455 have been zeroed out with seats still open in F and Y

I have to go to CA later in Aug. I was trying to decide between LAX and SNA, as both are about the same distance to where I'm going. I'd love to take the 777 ATL - LAX, but I'm seriously thinking about the MSP - SNA as a better upgrade chance.

777 is intriguing, but I could care less for LAX as an airport overall (and I love SNA).

Personally, for me, I like flying into LGB or BUR because they are small and quick to get from curbside to the gate

SNA is so much quicker to get in and out of (both on the plane and terminal).

So, I just checked-in online for tomorrow's extravaganza to LAX

DL4993 #2 of 2 for 1 seat in F (even though Y is full, the standby list shows 12 Y seats available; anticipation for S______s?)

DL2455 For some reason or another, all the system tells me is that Upgrade: Requested... at least I still have 19ABC all to myself...

I've recently seen quite a few flights where lots of empty seats in F were empty because the auto-upgrade ran and seats weren't selected.
