I maintain the Marriott simply because there are Courtyards/Fairfields seemingly everywhere (including plenty of properties near the Wake campus for those 2-3 annual visits), while Hyatts/Starwoods can be a bit harder to find for me.

I think he is doing some stay hopping, and has a couple of nights at the Hilton.

I did 6 Hiltons in 6 nights in California in January, and 4 Hiltons in 4 nights in California in May. It gets old. (But the points! The stay credits! The status! )

Ah hotel hopping...the only time I've ever really done it has been in Las Vegas to abuse some of the sweet hotel promos that go on out there (stuff like $50 free play, $25 dining credit, 2 free drinks and a free flight back to LAS all on a room costing $90...yeah, I'll hop around and abuse those ).

I dropped from Gold to Silver last year and Hilton offered me to get back gold after 4 stays. Combine that with the free stay after 4 nights offer, I made out pretty well.

Goodnight from the campaign trail.

So, I was enjoying a glass of Woodford on The Boat™, when I realized that I'm flying out later today to HRE. Needless to say, I'm back at the house, sitting at my desk, with a still empty suitcase on the bed. I'm tempted on OLCIng, but I don't want to jinx my successful SWU use to upgrade from J to P.

Also, finally my 25k MQM bonus miles posted, which put me over the top for the illustrious DYKWIA (a/k/a Diamond) level. And I even called DL to confirm this, to which they did. Hopefully after this sojourn to HRE, I should be able to clear the threshold award. What should I select as an award?

So, besides Paris and Nicky, who were the others?

Perhaps their mother Kathy Hilton?

No, I will not use the forbidden abbreviation.

Good question - I'm planning on flying Delta down, but will likely be flying down on Tuesday night to meet up with a college friend for the night beforehand.

Penance or purgatory?

Greetings from the Bates Motel Super 8 in Staples, MN. Whatever did I do to end up in this musty hole?

Girls from 455 Hooters locations from around the World will be competing in Fort Lauderdale at the Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant on Saturday, July 10th.

The pageant will take place at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.
My imagination has been running wild as to just what arts they will be performing.

"BFF"? What does that mean?

Besides, isn't it rude to call someone by an acronym? I am certain that the UIG, BAG, and SLY would think so.

And what is wrong with the Bates Motel? I have top tier status there.

BFF - Best friend forever . . .

Morning to The Lounge™, The Mansion™, The Grotto™, The Ranch™, The Marina™, The Lounge™ Lizards and Lizardettes, and The Boat™. Another meeting with the Marquis de Sade this morning. Something so wrong about self-inflicted torture.

That was a great promotion. I have 4 free stays good just about anywhere. Now I just need to make some plans to use them - the first 2 expire in January!

Based on my intent, I'm not sure you quite qualify.

I hopefully will have a new hotel each night... the prices for the HP's are nice & low. Though the GH Buckhead is only $3/night more.... Know where I'll be staying the night we have dinner @ Prime.

Airport North is cheap, airport South, not as much.

I'm with Hilton (to cover those out of the way and many foreign destinations) and Hyatt (domestic) because the points just make sense. I will only maintain one leisure-based top tier and SPG is just so much work to get to. Hyatt comped the Diamond status and I requalified quickly based on the FFN promo.

Same here. Only for Andaz, PH or the GH NYC ($$$$).

we can carpool since you'll be old enough to finally stop paying that ridiculous surcharge.

Threshold award wise, I would suggest the $200 credit (if you do the personal travel) and the Gold Medallion status if there's anyone you know who would use it.
