Maybe it shows on the manifest which passengers appreciate Woodford and therefore passes the message to catering to stock the requisite amount of Woodford needed to make those passengers happy.

I'm tempted on seeing whether I can gain complementary access to the SC with my (now old) PM card... As I need to drink something to dull the pain of the ERJ145. What should I be most upset about; the lack of Woodford, or the lack of FC?

When boarding a CRJ I always ask the FA if there is any Woodford on board and that is what I will be ordering. 85% of the time I am getting my drink before the carts are setup.

On this flight I had 2 glasses even before the flight was in the air--we had to hold in the Penalty Box for a little bit.

It's much more pleasant to hold in the Lounge™ than in the Box.

Yes you should be able to use the PM card to access the lounge as you are on an INTL ticket.

I was going to feign ignorance, and appear with my Y ticket to IAD and my PM card...

There was no limit on how many you could earn - some folks really cleaned up. I got 3 in 1st quarter and 1 in the 2nd quarter.

Best Hilton promotion in years, thought that is certainly faint praise at best.

How did you manage that? I am a High and Mighty PM and flew Biz Elite last week and asked for a cognac. I was told that the only alcohol I could get on the ground was champagne but was handed the cognac as soon as we took off.

The flight was operated my Mesaba, and we were on a CR9.

Because of customs/duty issues, the rules tend to be different for international flights. Excise tax generally isn't paid on alcohol served in the air on international flights--which essentially comes from duty-free--so that it must be kept separate from what is opened on the ground, although anything that's opened on the ground can still be served in the air. This is also why few airlines (SQ being a notable exception) serve good champagne pre-departure.

On domestic, a good FA and timely boarding should enable one to obtain the predeparture beverage of choice, assuming that the state and locality don't forbid it (like STL on Sunday).

I recently had a great FA that brought me a glass of the French champagne as soon as the crew were allowed out of their seats. He remembered that when pre-departure beverages were offered, I asked for ice water and commented that I would wait for the good stuff. Fantastic service from this guy.

Tis better to be holding a glass of Woodford regardless of where one may be at the moment.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8330/4.5.0.175 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

And now, I'm on a ERJ145 (DL6148) still sitting at the gate...oh how I wish Woodford could be served on these.

Oh right, THAT one. Cashed my single night (not lots of hotel stays Q1 compare that to Q2 where I had 25 stays w/27 nights in the Hyatt BWB promo) at the Reach Resort in Key West (cheapest hotel AT ALL that weekend was $300). 4 stays was too many for my liking & didn't give me incentive me to do any.

I will be ready to fly out next trip from PHX-LAS on US Airways. This is my third time where I flew on US Airways for this year. I can earned more miles again. I am looking forward to it. We are leaving on August 4 and returns back home on August 7. We are going visit to see my cousin Melissa in LAS for 3 days and the weather will be great day for us. I will enjoying flying on CRJ-900 for my first-time. I haven't been flown on CRJ-900 aircraft yet. My mom & I will sit in the CRJ-900 aircraft for first-time. On returns from LAS-PHX we are take on Airbus A321. I know it was brand new Airbus A321 has already been delivery by few couple months ago. So it will be great day for us in LAS. I haven't been in LAS for a long time.

I knows that we are refusal to flying on Southwest Airlines. As you know what happaned by few nights ago from my uncle Tom are not appropriate to put us on Southwest Airlines. We found out from my uncle. They are going to SNA on end of July. So I didn't want to see his friends who work for travel agents in Chicago. I won't joins at the Wedding for this time. I had it enough for a many times. So they are flying to SNA on July 31. So I won't fly on WN. I knew it that was not appropriate for his behaviors who put whole entire family to SNA. I will have him banned flying on Southwest Airlines. We had it enough flying on WN and its sucks. I told him that I didn't care what he says something to us. I do not likes to be on WN at all. Never!

Oh, I forgot to tell you something. We found a cheapest price at the hotel is at The Orleans is $29 pre-night. That was very good cheapest price where Melissa's father who work there.

Enjoy your trip to LAS and hope it will be cooler than PHX. Travel safe.
