I was planning a sail from Sag Harbor to Block Island.

Then I got booked to work an outdoor concert in RI, loading in Friday, show on Saturday. I half expect it to be cancelled.

Neither one sounds like something I want to do.

You're thinking of how things were done in school way back in the early days of the intertubes, back when you were getting educated. Nowadays they all have iPhones and netbooks, and they can surf and text all day; not just during study hall, but during class when they are supposed to be taking notes or doing assignments. They never need to actually interact with their peers or teachers, they just keep staring at the screens all day.

I do not quite understand why such an amount of time and energy is wasted on dialogue with a 15 year old.

Just put him on the ignore list and forget about him (unless you think that paying attention to him might help you connect with Mom and have some monkey business with her).

And we certainly do not wish to be accused of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

I think we need to designate N639DL as Acting Winner until such time as he reaches the age of majority and can prove same to us.
I totally agree that we should not contribute to any minor's delinquency.

I propose that the said milepost 'in escrow' be considered to be placed 'in trust' with the next milepost poster as the trustee until such time as the actual recipient of the milepost reaches maturity upon their 18th birthday.

So he says. Maybe he isn't even a he.

Back in my FT infancy, I was told that Cholula is the hot sauce guy. You can imagine my disappointment when I met him and found out he is, in fact, not made of hot sauce. Nor is Dovster a bird.

Useless without pictures.

I offered to met TJ for some BOS planespotting a couple weeks ago since we live so close together. He couldn't make it to the meeting point. I admit to looking forward to his mom being there.

Pretty sure that was a suggestion that you've been missing your time at the gym...
