Why would you post the stuff that went after the "*sigh*"?
Some parts were ridiculously easy, some parts ridiculously hard. It is indeed a windy day...
I'm not going to respond because I have the integrity to not insult back.

Did they do anything with the phone other than swab or xray it?
Their usual "rational" for looking for receipts is that they're searching for razor blades, which fails the smell test because a metal detector should pick it up & razor blades aren't as flexible as receipts -- you could tell in an instant if one is in there. However, if they're reading receipts and bills and taking notes, this really raises things to a new level.
The notes they took also raise the question about proper disclosures as to how they retain & use personal information. An FOIA request for your file might be in order, and a chat with your own attorney or one specializing in civil rights. I don't see how this search could fall within the scope of an "administrative" search for hazards to aviation -- they seem to be expanding it to include what essentially becomes a fishing expedition at the checkpoint, and of course you are not "free to go" until the "administrative" search is complete. With two law enforcement officers present & participating, it loses its "administrative" nature.
At the very least, please log reports of this at the ACLU & EPIC links in my signature.
ACLU has been collecting reports of TSA checkpoint abuse for several years now. ACLU picks their battles carefully. I'm convinced they are using their internet report form in an effort to find the right cases to pursue.
That's what I'm wondering, too -- if any of them (not just law enforcement) examined the contents of his cell phone as opposed to just evaluating its explosive characteristics, or if law enforcement participated in the reading of his papers & taking notes, there would seem to be some serious 4th amendment issues here.
Reminds me of a quite hilarious FT thread (locked years ago, but after hundreds of mileposts) about leaving & finding porn in hotel rooms.

Is CO "your" hooker airline now?
I got my request to schedule the GE interview ~ 1 week after my application was submitted. Interview is a breeze, after a few formalities including pasting a sticker into your PP they take your picture, fingerprints and show you how to do the kiosk. Good luck with the process.
See ya at the DO next week.

[QUOTE=secretsea18;14957076]Enjoy Sin City!
Is CO "your" hooker airline now? /QUOTE]
Sin City will be interesting here for an FT friend of a friend's 40th
Birthday and a chance to visit friends I dont get to see often enough.
As for CO she's more like that 20 something model you look at during your midlife crisis. My hooker is AA where I'll be a lifetime gold by mid month next month (with 3 paid flown flights on them ever).
Excited that WesNSpace was gracious enough to facilitate the groupings friday so I can get it done in the morning.

Had this beautfiul itinerary planned out for PBI, that was baout $360. Flight changes from DTW-PBI are making connections shorter heading south and longer heading north...BUT it went down to $330.

You are one sick puppy.
