Meanwhile, I will undoubtedly pack on Saturday night after seeing her and be done within 5 minutes.

I've been told that in Japan it's possible to rent a basic white dress shirt in a standard size at a convenience store, wear it, and then return it dirty at any location for the chain. However, I've never checked this out.

Well, unfortunately, I am nowhere near the "standard" size for US clothing styles, much less Japanese. Maybe if I could get myself motivated enough to work out while I travel...

Yeah, packing the same clothes in my suitcase every week takes about 10 minutes. Just getting tired of it lately. But, I am under 100K for getting the family to HI on DL in F...and still in need of the hotel points to pay for that portion of the trip, so, off on planes I go...

Another possibility is to store some items at hotels you frequent. You can either arrange to just store some stuff or have it sent to the laundry or dry cleaning service when you leave. Ideally, your items can be delevered to your pre-assigned room before you arrive.
In reality, I have about 6 days of clothes that just basically rotate between suitcase-body-suitcase-laundry-suitcase. Coworkers pick on me, since every time they see me, I have the same clothes (some variation between the slacks and shirt of the day) as the last time they saw me. It works and all fits in a 20" TravelPro, so I really cannot complain too much.

Yeah, I don't gamble that much when there, either. I only typically get to Lost Wages about once every couple of years, when Cisco holds their conference there. I never seem to spend long enough at the craps table to earn any comps and playing the poker room doesn't get you much, either.

Meanwhile, I completely astounded myself yesterday by forking out a few thousand $$$ for an M fare. I will be stopping in ATL for two days on the way to Vegas and three more days on the way back (as the Good Lord never intended for man to spend 17 hours each way in an aluminum tube for one lousy week).
I had enough PMUs to upgrade 3 of the 4 segments and forked out 12,500 SkyMiles for the last one.
(It would have only taken 2 PMUs if I flew both ways without stopovers.)
Canarsie, Wes, DiverDave, et all, how about arranging the Third Annual Delta Do for Feb 27 through March 1?
Scoow, can you arrange for your sexy Sister-in-Law to show me around Atlanta from Feb 17 through Feb 20? I am not very demanding -- she only has to guide me from the hotel bar to my room.

Damn, I should have brought more movies with me, or at least a book. TV shows tonight suck donkey gonads.
I really should go to bed, since I have to get up at 0400 to head to ALB, turn in the car and board the WN flight to BWI.

First, let me start by indicating how amazing the Connexion by Boeing is working! Right now, it shows that we are nearing the southwestern edge of Newfoundland on our way to Frankfurt. Dinner service just started--I just finished some sort of shrimp concoction.
Getting to JFK was not as bad as I thought, even though it was a CR2 on the PVD-IAD. The sad part is that I think the seats are larger and more comfortable than the DL counterpart--but that's for another day.
Upon arrival into JFK, I made my way over to SQ check-in so I could retrieve my boarding pass, as my luggage was going to be transferred automatically from UA to US. When the agent pulled up my itinerary, and noticed that I was in 4F, she called for a supervisor who was very apologetic but indicated that 4F was broken, and that they may have to downgrade me to 13A, which would have meant a voucher for the difference in fares. Come to find out, there was a no-show for 1A, to which I currently find myself residing for the next 4.5 hours, before I return to row 4, this time 4C.
If it were me, I would take KL ex-YUL, mainly because they operate the MD11 on that route--but that too is for another day. I prefer the 777s, but I would try out of IAD as JFK is annoying. As to ATL, for the most part they operate the 744, but sometimes they run a 77L out of there as well. Included with that is the 333 out of DTW.
With that said, I prefer to fly out of IAD, but for your purposes, I would take the 77W out of YUL as it takes a certain person to tolerate the 744 (and depending on the configuration, like the CIO, you could get a very large voucher, but end up in Y or Y+ for 6-8 hours)
On the 77W, I would get 3-5AB
Even though they had to restart it a few times, it is working like a charm. In fact, I wish DL installed this service on their long-haul fleet--especially to Asia and Africa.
I can give you some US miles
Now on to the 2nd course, and more productivity

Yes, I bought the book today at Barnes & Nobles. I got cookbook that I would likes to read the pasta. How I can cooks with pasta and I just read the pasta where I want to eat something. I loves to eat cheese tortellini with mushroom on it, too. It was so delicious! I will try to read the pasta tonight.
