What did Mrs. Cholula hold a gun to your head and make you watch the game?

She insisted that I take my traditional nap early so I could be alert at the 3:15 kickoff here on the Left Coast.
I was glued to my computer until she hollered the requisite "COMMERCIAL" every so often and I'd turn to the TV and check it out.
Never did watch one play of the game.

I liked the book better than the movie. But Friday Night Lights is more about the hysteria that is Texas high school football than it is about football itself.

I didn't see that one. Was it shown in the second half?

I had a miserable second half as my ex called sometime in the Third Quarter saying she was feeling sick and didn't want to be alone. It was about 3:30 in the morning here and she knew I would be awake to watch the SuperBowl so she wanted to come here (her house is only a few minutes walk from mine).

She showed up and spent the entire time complaining about how miserable she felt. It was very nostalgic for me -- she always used to say the same things when we were having sex.

Naturally, being a red blooded American man I did what any of you would do -- I completely ignored her until the game was over. At that point, I gave her the telephone number of a doctor. He came to my house, said that she might be suffering from gall stones, and I drove her to the hospital.

I am not sure how he came that conclusion except that he figured that any woman who calls her ex at 3:30 in the am and tries to get him to pay attention to her instead of the SuperBowl not only has plenty of gall but rather big stones as well.
