No, it aired just before the opening kick-off, IIRC. Sorry you missed it.

Yup, right before kickoff. She was dressed in red, dancing and showing off, the usual routine. My first thought was of a t-shirt that read, "who needs brains when you've got these?" A true role model for the young women of America.

Thankfully, the Dove/self-esteem commercial was aired late in the game and garnered lots of hits.

I wanted to let my DL friends know that I lost my father this weekend. He died peacefully in his sleep, at home.

The DL gang has been a big comfort to me the past 1 1/2 years. We thought we had lost him then. He recovered, and I was able to move him down to TPA near me (on NW, since they had a direct non-stop flight FNT-TPA at the time).

Very sorry to hear of this!!
I remember he had been ill when you moved him to FL. At least you had him close by for his remaining time and hopefully were able to spend some quality time with him.
Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

My heartfelt condolences for your loss, MsEverywhere. I'm really sorry to hear this. I know his failing health has been a source of anxiety to you for some time now. It's thoughtful of you to share this with us and please let me know if there's anything at all I can do.
