Happy New Year!

DL hasn't updated anything yet AFAIK. Still showing data from last year. I'm still waiting to find out what movies are going to be on next month at 36,000 feet.

As we flew in from CDG, we were both asleep at midnight local time - I didn't want to attempt to keep icurhere2 SO up for 24+ hours with just a short nap on the TATL flight, yet force her to stay up long enough to not completely mess up her sleep rhythms

That's a rough neighborhood. We're much friendlier and and more cultured here.

Good late evening--New Year's Day (granted Jan 2 is now 3 minutes old) from the InterContinental, where I am packing to return to the US. So far, 2011 has been *very* kind as I was just changed from SGN-HKG-NRT-DTW-PVD, to SGN-KUL-CDG-IAD-DTW-PVD, with op-ups on the KUL-CDG and CDG-IAD from J to P as J was hopelessly oversold. In addition, MH issued me a voucher for my troubles...

And on another note, it appears that I will be a representative at the IMO from January to June, which requires my presence every 3 weeks.

Anyhow, I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable New Year's Day.

Which is not to be confused with IMHO, since I doubt there will be much Humility present.

In fact, the theme of the entire first half of the year is about piracy, commercial shipping and aquaculture in the developing world.

I guess you could say that piracy is a type of aqua culture, one with a long and colorful history.
