That thread contains too many multi-quotes and is difficult to skim speed-read.

The policy over there at that thread of requiring complex multi-quotes has led to excessive use of the technique and has made it even more boring than this one.

Funny, I learned that Alaska is the 49th state, and (while you probably "can see Russia from your house"), I have not read that Alaska has seceded from the Union.

Is it taking that long for the news to make it to the lower 48 states????

there is not such a policy it's just a not two posts in a row from the same OP. -> with the speed of that lounge, it lead to multilple quotes.

but I know many other boring threads
