I am not stuck in a snowstorm. It is actually raining here right now.

Indeed it is Saturday, that is the positive thing.

Not looking forward to tomorrow...but I am looking forward to most of the days in the coming week.

Or whatever the actual routing ends up being, whichever is longer.
After all, this is FT. He might end up routing via the west coast.

That is not the monitor I know.

He wants to get to his destination as quickly, comfortably and as safely as possible.

I may be mistaken, but I have never known him to go out of his way to earn miles, points or elite qualification miles...

In other words, he does not suffer from the insanity which infects this board.

Oh, I agree. Monitor definitely wants to get to his destination as quickly, comfortably and safely as possible. However, sometimes going a bit out of the way is the quickest, most comfortable way to get from A to B. With rolling delays, it might be worth routing via D instead of C. It may be a few miles "out of the way" but you actually arrive sooner.

I don't mind delays -- as long as I am in the terminal when they happen. I would rather spend 5 hours in an airport than 1 hour in an aluminum tube.

I am in fact not stuck in a snowstorm.

Not everything that a person states is fact.

How long is the TLV-ATL flight again?

It is unfortunate to witness someone starting to publicly experience the common symptoms associated with being stuck in a snowstorm — denial being one of those symptoms.

Thirteen long, miserable, hours.

The only good part about it is that it takes off at 11 pm, so by the time that I have eaten dinner I can recline the seat (I am in Biz) and, hopefully, have some of those hours disappear while I sleep.

When I flew ATL-TLV last time, I dozed off somewhere over Canada, woke up over the UK, and went back to sleep until we were near Greece.

Clearly, neither N639DL nor Canarsie can read. N830MH did not say that The Grasshopper was stuck in a snowstorm.

He said he was stRuck at home because of a snowstorm. The way I see it, the snow kept him from going to the mall and a cute blonde neighbor came into his house to borrow a cup of brandy to make a hot toddy.

The Grasshopper, who was busy listening to his iPod, thought she said, "My name is Brandy. How would you like to get me hot, laddy?"

When he lunged at her, she struck his cheek with a mighty slap and stormed out the door.

Well, none of y'all can read because The Lad said it's not even snowing. It's raining.

It's not even snowing outside.

Thank you for pointing that out.

That whole theoretical story behind being "struck at home"...yeah that really doesn't make any sense.

It makes perfect sense and theoretically is possible, but is very highly unlikely, outside of Dovster's mind.

denial is a river in egypt. Are you saying the young lad is stuck in Cairo? If true, that will be a fantastic educational experience (assuming, of course, that he lives to tell about it).
