Ug

This morning I woke up sick (sinus infection do don't worry if your next to me). I leave for HKG from DTW tomorrow for a nice 15+ hour flight. On my lunch break I went to a doc in the box and got two shots in the butt and 3 different medications. NO way am I missing my vacation! Now here's to hoping the shot site pain subsides before my nice long flight in Y.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Hope you will get feels better soon. Try to get some rest at home for a while. You should go to see the doctor immediately. You have to called the doctor right way and they will setup for your appointment.

Golden corral across the street from a sonic. I love Florida.

Sad in the fact there's surely better places to dine if you look around. Shula's would be my choice in FL.

(a) what's a stet?

(b) Ick to both. There's a Sonic that is within walking distance of my condo (I walk by it when I go to the grocery store and CVS). I have no desire to ever get food there.

There is fortunately a Dunkin Donuts, a pizza place and a decent Chinese fusion type place within walking distance. The rest of the food options, not so much. (I'm looking at you, Sonic, Whataburger and whatever the greasy Mexican fast food joint nearby is called).

Speaking of food, I might need to make a visit to RA tonight. It's been since Sunday...

Ha! Alaska took four months to get back to me.

Oh, and for a transcon downgrade that was entirely their fault due to a bug in their system, they offered me 3,000 miles.

Hopefully I will be knocked out, thanks to all the goodies the doctor gave me. Glad I chose the window seat!

Thanks, unfortunately I worked till 5:30 and am just now getting into bed, making sure stuff is out for the AM. Fingers crossed, but looks like there will be no drinking in Macau...alas

Medicate heavily. My most miserable flying experience ever involved an ear infection. If the kindly old lady next to me jabbed her knitting needle into my left ear far enough to hit my brain, it wouldn't have hurt as much as my right ear did from the infection (that was back in the day when knitting needles were not a terrorist threat and could be carried on-board).

Ouch. Glad I haven't been through that! A simple head cold can make flying a miserable experience, so I don't really want to suffer through anything more.

FWIW, knitting needles are ok today. http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtrav...rial_1252.shtm

You can't take a tool/screwdriver over 7" long, but take two, call them knitting needles & they are no longer a terrorist threat.

Shula's in Miami sounds really good right now. Maybe I'll go there in a few weeks.

I've been to the Shula's Miami Lakes location a few times and some of his other locations.

The main problem I have is ordering from a football as a menu and ordering entrees with names like Touchdown Filet, Halfback Prime Rib and Third and Long Shrimp Cocktail.

Please.

Just shoot me.
