Why are you afraid of my home town airport?

Yes, there is an elite line, but most of the time it's closed; DL is at the far end of terminal 3, it's one of the quietest parts of the airport, so the standard line is rarely more than 10 people deep. When it is they open the elite line.

There is a very nice small CRC, not very crowded.

As to the ORD-MDW shuttle, there was a thread in the Chicago forum a while back- search that forum.

When will you be here? Mrs. G. and I will be passing through ORD very early Monday.

I get into MDW Sunday evening and leave ORD Tuesday evening. Will be back though, this is start with a new client. Next time we should try to get together.

And YES your hometown airport scares me, I am from 8 flight a day BGM, I have learned to not have a panic attack in ATL and even grown a little fond of DTW, but ORD and LAX were the two I have tried to avoid successfully. Now have a client in Chi and am heading to my foo foo convention in Hollywood

DL doesn't have much more than that out of ORD, and they are off in a corner, so you'll be fine.

We fly out of ORD early Monday, (going to SNA) so we'll miss you this time.

Better figure at least that hour, especially with dropping off the rental car. This is not the best connection around, maybe not as bad as EWR-JFK, but still lousy.

No no that isnt 8 DL flights a day out of BGM....that is 8 flights a day out of the airport TOTAL, 2 dl connection, 2 nwa pinnacle, 2 usairways commuter, and 2 united express.

Enjoy SNA, that is one of my favorite areas of the country.

Thanks!!! Had a feeling this was not going to be a fun one. But I have survived every other airport I have had to conquer so will probably live through this and am stressing over nothing I am sure, sorry my newbie spots are showing (although can you be a platinum and claim newbie status *smile*)

Those little airports can be terrible- TSA has nothing to do all day but sit around bored, so they look forward to doing extra secondaries just to relieve the boredom; and they don't have the experience of the people at ORD, who've already seen everything 100 times over and aren't surprised by anything.

And, just to piss em off, I demand that they change gloves. "I tell em, "I don't know whose dirty underware you were digging through last." One guy was so pissed, he said I'd have to wait. I called his supervisor over. Super changed gloves and searched my bags.

Arrow Worth 12 minutes of your valuable time

I was going to post this on The Thread, but feared it would be deleted as too political.

This is a twelve minute clip from the Steven Spielberg Jewish Film Acrhive showing WHY ISRAEL IS DEFENDING HERSELF SO STRONGLY

That is NOT a problem at BGM, we have the friendliest, most welcoming TSA folks I have met in the system. They know me by name, they are super nice, ask me where I am off to on a given day, how my last trip was an so on, and are just really great. I have never seem them secondary ANYONE. Including when I got hand cream or something on my luggage and every time they swabbed it it would test positive for explosives (this went on every trip for about 2 months). Never had a single problem, they would search it a little better and that was it. They are also really great with helping people who dont fly often. I cant think of a single thing to complain about with our TSA folks, all 6 of them *smile*
