Yes, there is an elite line, but most of the time it's closed; DL is at the far end of terminal 3, it's one of the quietest parts of the airport, so the standard line is rarely more than 10 people deep. When it is they open the elite line.
There is a very nice small CRC, not very crowded.

And YES your hometown airport scares me, I am from 8 flight a day BGM, I have learned to not have a panic attack in ATL and even grown a little fond of DTW, but ORD and LAX were the two I have tried to avoid successfully. Now have a client in Chi and am heading to my foo foo convention in Hollywood
