Actually, it was a Triple. Not sure there's much of a decision.

I was supposed to make dessert tonight, as we went for dinner with the neighbors, but Rosie decided that she wanted to paint the kitchen and den, and that took forever.

I had to buy a caramel walnut apple pie from Sam's instead

I was going to make a tart with fresh fruit, or something with lemon curd, but ran out of time

Later, as I need to go to bed, as tomorrow I am off to Port Huron

If you had been paying careful attention to your reading, you would have realized that very powerful wizards, such as Albert Dumbledore and myself, can see what is hidden by invisibility cloaks.

(This also applies to various female garments and undergarments, but Al doesn't like that to be publicized.)

Chocolate Martini

Though I find that good chocolate pairs well with a nice Champagne.

Sometimes, simple is best... and you get extra marks for that oddly suggestive martini glass plus the fresh strawberry (it's a classic, but you can never go wrong with it, right???) so yes simple but honest and to the point and I like the proportions - SIX parts vodka to one of choc liqueur ....

Dov, I think we have a winner here!!!

Oops - I see tkey75 beat me to the Martini.

Perhaps this?
Especially when topped with whipped confections.

I have to admit that the Choc Martini recipe makes my fillings ache... but that's just me - I'll still mix it for anyone who wants a really good sugar fix!!!

I like your champagne + chocolate idea, but would love to hear a specific pairing - after all, I need to know what to order or talk to the Chefs & Co about..... how about champagne + a white chocolate mousse?????

So, in the meantime, your poor overworked bartender/janitor/tech director is also making dessert and giving out lounge awards...???

Wottheheck, I have a contest going with the lounge folks and Dov is supplying the goods, we hope, 'cause the chocolate is all over him and his.... he just looks so guilty .... and yet, so strangely ... happy!!!!!

White chocolate (while it sounds yummy) doesn't have the antioxident properties of dark chocolate. As I know you are just trying to look out for our health, I'll try to assist. Perhaps a Black & White Chocolate Mousse, served in chocolate cups, with fresh raspberries? I'm sure that would be easy enough for our expert kitchen staff.

I hadn't even really thought about the glass, but since you mention it...it's not really an odd suggestion. It's pretty direct if you ask me

I'll be waiting by my mailbox every day for the prize to arrive.

OK, we're just about fully-staffed. But we're still looking for a few good people although I doubt we'll find them around here.
These positions are not lifetime. You're all subject to the whims, fancies and vagaries of the management.
And we'll not accept any malingerers, goldbricks, slackers, shirkers or goof-offs.
Lechers, however, are welcomed.

Did the dog borrow the tongue from Dov? Where is the Rat's hand?
