First Class line at OAK?
I apologize if this has been discussed before; I'm flying on F and wondering if DL currently has an Elite Security line at OAK. (my home airport is SFO, hence the lack of knowledge of OAK). If it doesn't, what's the wait like on Monday mornings around 7am-ish (flight is in mid August; the 8:30am OAK-ATL). Would checking in at 7:30am suffice (for carry-ons only)?
I appreciate your thoughts in advance.

Avoid long TSA lines at OAK

On Saturday, June 19th, I was flying on JetBlue out of terminal 1. The security line was very long -- wrapping all the way into the baggage claim area. It looked like a 30-40 minute wait. I walked over to terminal 2 (Soutwest gates). Sure enough, it had a very short security line. In about ten minutes, I was past security and in terminal 1.
OAK really should alert passengers to this option. Until they do, however, check the other security line at OAK if your terminal has a long line.

OAK is such a bizarre airport. No kiosks, no organization with security lines (I didn't even see another security line when I was there), no GIDS, and they turn off some of the lights to save electricity. What the? Hello, it's an airport, not an office building at night. It needs light!

Oakland and flow
Not enough gates - you can arrive 10 minutes early and still get off the plane 20 minutes late - wait for gates. Then incredibly poor traffic pattern to exit airport or get to rental cars.
Airport should be avoided unless necessary.
