Also, WRT hot tea - I was (or at least my pants were) doused twice by two separate cups of tea at tonight's dinner when my MIL pulled over her cup with her sleeve when serving herself from the dishes on the lazy susan and then, a few minutes later, when some of the dishes that were sticking out from the lazy susan interacted with my tea cup and my pants were covered once more. No burns but made for a wet night.

I then stood for a good portion of the rest of the meal...'tho I didn't let it ruin my night. (And now I know that corky has been missing out on Peking Duck )

Other than the impending doom that the tridemic and all are going to inflict on us, we should inaugurate a peking duck do. Hot tea included.

Lagavulin 16. Mrs. CoffeeTraveler calls this the “stinky scotch” so I’m enjoying it with plenty of distance from her.
