El Al has two versions of the 787, the 787-9 and the 787-8.
The 787-9 is 20' or 6.1 meters longer than the 787-8, it holds more passengers and has a slightly longer range.
The El Al configuration of the 789 has 32 business seats, 28 premium economy, and 222 economy for a total of 282 seats.
El Al's 788, on the other hand, has 20 business seats, 35 premium economy and 183 economy for a total of 238 seats

If El Al could afford it, they would have withdrawn the 777s and replaced them with 787-10. This may be what will happen in a few years as some of their 777s will turn 19 next year.
