How are things at MAN these days? Still struggling for fleet? Am considering booking the 'O' group Passat Bluemotion for a trip in a couple of weeks. Any suggestions?

Over the last 12-18 months Manchester has gone through a copmlete restructure, this had some effects on the times waiting, now all procesess are in place the turn around of a vehicle is a lot quicker, granted there will be the occasion where it sems you have no choice but to wait, this is someyimes unavoidable due to the restrains of fleet not just in manchester but in the whole of the uk. just a few pointers, not putting a flight number onto your reservation means your car will not be at a the terminal you arrive at as the staff are unsure as where your car should be placed, gold desks at t3 and t2 are being looked at for a more permanent fixture, a ford focus falls under a C group category and the estate falls under a Z so therefore it is a valid upgrade. the Mondeo is a much sought after car and this is the reason they are in short supply, what i will say is that the VW jetta and the VW passat will be moving to the same category very shortly so things should improve on that front, shortage of cars is has been a common event at manchester but things have improved ten fold, espiecally with the reduction of the older fleet and the newer cars coming on fleet quicker. i will leave it at that for now as i have to go but will keep you updated on any further developments.
