FLL - Specific make and model

HELP! According to the website, I can book a specific make and model at FLL. But, I've had no luck in being able to do so when I go to make a reservation online. I've even called and haven't been able to book a specific model. I'm a Hertz #1 Club Gold member, if this makes any difference.

Also, is there anywhere to find a list of what make and model are actually available at any location?

Thanks!

I put in some random dates and these are the specific models that came up for FLL:

Mazda 6, Ford Mustang, Ford Taurus, Toyota Camry, Mercury Grand Marquis, Buick LeSabre, Volvo V70 Cross Country Wagon, Volvo S80 Sedan, Lincoln LS, Jaguar S-TYPE, Jaguar XJ8, Jaguar X-TYPE, Ford Explorer, Land Rover Discovery, Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, Jaguar XK8 Convertible, Hummer H2, Lincoln Aviator, Audi S4 Cabriolet, Audi A6 Quattro

What are you trying to reserve? Maybe they're sold out for the dates you're looking for.

For each location you can check:

Hertz.com >Locations, Cars & More > Vehicle Guide

I'm trying to reserve Aug 27 - Sept 3 and all I keep getting is "Ford Taurus or similar" etc.

Am I trying to book too early?

I don't know what I was doing wrong, but I tried it again this morning, and I got it to work!

Thanks for the help!

I noticed something similar over labor day weekend when I was trying to make our reservations. Far in advance, they appear to be almost sold out, but availability opened up a few weeks later.

One key to specific make/model that may be overlooked at times: you need to be logged in as a #1 Club member. Doesn't need to be Gold, but when I checked a location without being logged in, it wouldn't show me specific models. Logged in and it did (with my old non-Gold #), so I'm assuming that is what made the difference. I'm sure it's also possible that the timing makes a difference.
