I think 2 can handle LHR/LGW and 4 can handle JFK/EWR

Risk away. I've been a victim of their last minute aircraft swaps too many times. They are still waiting to get the majority of planes they ordered so till that is done you are always running the risk of AI pulling the rug from under you at the last minute.
