Emerald gets 20kg extra on domestic Y flights. Based on how it is written, I'd say the same should apply for F, but I have probably never been even up to 20kg on a domestic flight.

Should be +20kg on top of the standard allowance, with each piece limited to 32kg.

Was told that it was 45kgs max and being emerald was irrelevant as 45kgs was max forall bags..
I had 58kgs and they tried to charge me more..
In the end i took it away and put in hand luggage(as liquids ok on jp dom flights) but it seemed incorrect to me...

What kind of fare is this? And I assume this is not on JL flights operated with ATR and SF3 since you are traveling in domestic first class.

Then your allowance with Emerald benefit is 40kg. Class J is not domestic First Class and only comes with 20kg of standard allowance. You are 18kg over the allowance.

They already give you 5kg extra on top of what you are entitled to. It's clearly indicated on the website you only have 20kg of standard allowance for Class J. You didn't provide the info when I asked what kind of fare this is. You may get more allowance if this is part of an international itinerary.

The Diamond benefits apply to OWE as well. Otherwise, you'd need to look at the luggage benefits on the Oneworld homepage, but is rather inspecific on the details.
