hotel elsereine osaka
anyone famaliar with this hotel? it seems to be located in the area suggested. the only problem would be if noone in the hotel had any english. i also cannot tell if they have any concierge service. we would probably stay 3 nights in oct, then continue to kyoto. although the rooms are on the smallish side, the mid priced rooms sound decent and of excellent value

I would call the hotel to check if there is anyone who speaks fluent English and if they have concierge service. I believe the operator on the daytime shift can understand basic English,which was not the case when I called a Holiday Inn in China.

According to their website, it does not look as if they have concierge service.
By the way, is there any reason why you are spending 3 nights in Osaka and moving on to Kyoto?
The two cities are not very far apart, and Kyoto is by far a more interesting city for most foreign visitors.
