KLM vs. KQ op-up chances
I will be flying from CDG to NBO next october. Currently I hold (through the KLM res as KQ has no representative in France) an option in H on the KQ operated flights between AMS and NBO of september 30 and october 9, respectively. I chose KQ as its coach service has a better reputation than KLM.
However as a recent FB Platinum I wonder if my op-up chances (if any) are better on KLM metal than on KQ metal (holding a ticket on KLM stock). If there is significant evidence towards this I would be ready to choose a flight on KLM metal. Does anybody have a hint?

KQ's Premier World business class is much better than KL WBC. Horizontal lie-flat seats = greater pitch = less seats. KQ's 767's have 25 C seats, their 777's 28. In other words, KQ has fewer seats to upgrade to.
