Is the test requirement gone for all transfers at FRA? I’m transferring non-Schengen to Schengen in a couple of months (hopefully moot by then anyway)

Long gone. Just make sure to comply with the entry requirements of your destination (if any).

And I assume I don't need to show proof of vaccination either to transfer through Germany?

Current Germany Entry requirements

US citizen currently on holiday in Thailand. May be making some return flight changes with an overnight layover in Frankfurt. Just want to know if my understanding of entry requirements is correct. As long as I am not coming from an area of concern, it doesn't appear I need to do anything. No proof of vaccination etc. Is this correct?

COVID Test Required for Non-boosted travelers

Flying MUC to ORY tomorrow. I'm not boosted, but have had 2 vaccines. Do I need to get a covid test to transit? Any recent experience?

Germany has suspended all requirements for now (until end of August). France requires you to be fully vaccinated (no booster required) atleast 270 days before arrival or you have to show a quick test report:

https://lufthansa.travel-regulations...h-enabled=true
All travelers must complete the
  1. digital passenger locator form . Any travelers unable to complete the digital form must request a paper form from the crew of their flight.
  2. Travelers older than 12 years must present one of the following medical certificates:
  • a COVID vaccination certificate, stating the traveler has been fully vaccinated at least 7 days and at most 270 days before arrival
  • a negative COVID PCR test, taken within 72 hours before departure
  • a negative COVID Antigen test, taken within 48 hours before departure
  • a COVID-19 recovery certificate issued at least 11 days and at most 6 months before departure from the first embarkation point

Just to double confirm, children under 12 are not subject to any testing or vaccination requirements to land at BSL airport but driving onwards to Germany?

Flew two times to CDG from FRA three weeks ago and no one asked any kind of certificate from any passengers. First time I had a printed boarding pass from check-in counter outside of Europe and second time I did check-in through app and used boarding pass from app. I am fully vaccinated without booster.

BSL requires you to follow French rules:

Information for passengers arriving at Basel-Mulhouse airport (BSL)

The airport of Basel-Mulhouse is located in France. Therefore, the entry restrictions for France apply for passengers arriving in Basel. Passengers wanting to enter Switzerland through Basel airport must adhere to both French and Swiss entry regulations. Please check the entry restrictions for France ahead of your trip, by selecting a French city as your destination. Exempt are Swiss citizens or residents, for whom only the entry regulations of Switzerland apply. Please check the entry restrictions for France ahead of your trip.
France doesn't require anything for children under 12.

I am correct in interpreting that no covid/vaccine related documentation is required for US pax for any of the following (August 2022):

* Boarding LH in BOS for flight to MUC.
* Arrival in MUC and in-transit at MUC airport, in LH FCL.
* Boarding LH in MUC for MUC-NAP.
* Arriving in Italy and traveling throughout Italy.
* Boarding LH in Italy for traveling NAP-MUC.
* Boarding LH in MUC for traveling MUC-BOS.
* Arriving in BOS and re-entering the US.

We are vaccinated and boosted, but my understanding is that no proof of clean tests prior to travel or vaccine documentation is required any longer for travel to and among the above fights/countries. Am I correct?

Thank you… What a relief. We traveled previously to the Caribbean and change planes and had to satisfy two different country requirements… And be tested prior to returning… What a mess. Safe travels to all!

Lufthansa Covid Test Requirements

Hi - newbie international flyer here. We are flying jfk to Malta via Frankfort. Can you please advise if testing is still necessary.

I looked at Lufthansa’s website and I don’t think it is still required. Would just like confirmation. thank you so much.
