And then compare this to LH‘s promise:
“Even on short and medium-haul routes, in Lufthansa Business Class you can expect a full meal which will be served on high-quality china.“

Depends on the definition of „full meal“ I guess ...

Yes, so that’s a broken promise in my book for that meal & MUC-MAN is close to a 2 hr flight. My version looked horrible & the Purser had no ingredient details, no use to anyone with allergies, of course the Menu’s were enhanced away some time ago.

They serve something similar on MUC-FRA and even on LH's shortest flight NUE-MUC. In my mind, the offering should be a bit more differentiated. Who wants to eat a "full meal" on a flight with about 7 minutes cruise?

Yes, I see better & more substantial meals on FRA- MUC, clearly whoever is organising the catering at MUC has no idea where MAN is.....

MUC-FRA in C gets the '3 things on small plates' service.

MAN and BRU get the 'let put the 3 things one single larger plate' service.

Not necessarily. I had the '3 things on small plates' service between FRA and MAN at least a couple of times during 2018.

FRA-MAN March 2018 - late afternoon departure

MAN-FRA September 2018 - lunchtime departure

Thanks for making me giggle.

MAN-FRA just got something very similar:

At least nobody dropped it before serving.

But much less fancy looking than the three triangular plates.

It seems like an improvement on the 3 small plate service. Let’s hope it continues.

Do they still serve proper meals to/from LIS/OPO? IME those were the two destinations in Western Europe that stood out in terms of LH catering in J.

Did not feel like an improvement over anything though.

It’s an improvement on something like this I had on MAN-FRA about a year ago.
