Thumbs up Airfaredig.com - fare bargain lists

www.airfaredig.com -- I have been using this convenient site since '05. Apparently it's maintained by a 17 yr old teen who appears to be a pretty good fare 'guru.' The site lists top deals to/from 25 major u.s. cities.

Just wanted to share it since it has been useful for me, probably not bookmark worthy for most FT'ers.

That's weird - nether Washington DC nor Boston are on the list.

Heh...I had wondered the same thing. Originally, the site had 50+ cities, but he claimed updating all of the cities daily was overwhelming. So now the 25 available cities he said in an e-mail "are a combination of the largest U.S. cities and busiest U.S. airpots."

I'll let him know that D.C. and Boston are requested.

I've been seeing $178 Boston to Spokane fare at this site, for the last 5 days. Every time I clicked through, it became a $500 fare.

I know it had to be a mistake!

I'm quite confident they are not the same. The look and feel is quite different and so are the fares.

The airfarewatchdog.com is a better one. For example, it found $189 Boston to Oakland or Seattle. No such thing on the other one.

The other one also listed $159 Boston to Rochester. I'm sure it's a typo, and probably should be $109, as listed on airfarewatchdog.com.

So far I am not impressed.
