I signed up at right about 5 PM yesterday. I couldn't tell you when the points posted, just that they were in my account when I checked at 9 AM today. Hope this helps!

Helps a bit, thanks. Reconfirms that those who signed up before 8pm EDT already received their points, whereas those who signed up after, are still waiting.
Some of us are thinking that they may have pulled the promo around that time, even though the signup page is still online.
Hopefully, it's just a delay with processing the night-time batch.

I've never redeemed HH points for anything other than award stays, but they do allow you to to redeem for other things,...shopping, dining, car rentals, etc:

Also, if you want a 500 point new account bonus, then signup via TopGuest:
http://www.topguest.com/terms/hilton
And by using TopGuest and Foursquare checkins, you can earn 50 points per day.
So,...by doing all this, you may end up with something that you could use eventually, whether it's an award stay or a purchase.

I signed up just before 8pm PST and still nothing here- I think its odd they still havent taken the site down.
