MyPoints-HELP!!!
If anybody has been watching MYPT, you would know that they are on their way out the door.
I have about 15,000 points that I want to turn into AAdvantage ff miles. Can somebody please advise on the most efficient way to do this?
I looked at HHonors, but I would only end up with something like 2000 ff miles according to what I found.
The Vacation Miles option is completely useless.
If I get Alaska Miles, can I redeem them in the same manner as I can USAirways miles? That is, if I want to purchase a rewards ticket through AAdvantage, I can use the combined total of my USAir and AAdvantage miles. I can't actually transfer the USAir miles, but I can use them for reward travel. Can I pull from Alaska in the same manner?
Do any of the other frequent stay programs associated with MyPoints offer a better exchange for miles than HHonors?
Thanks for reading.

Welcome aboard TickTock!
BTW the topic belong to SPAM or OMNI.
You really don't have decent FF miles option other than AS. You might be better off redeeming MyPoints for GC which I have been doing since AA FF miles option was take off.
On Marriott option, you get same miles as Hilton option would yield; 15K MyPoints -> 10K Marriott Rewards Pts -> 2K AA miles. At 30K pts levels the conversion rate improves to 3:1 ratio.
Oh, no you can't combine AA & AS miles and AA & US FF partnership ends next year.

@ 20K points, you can do a little better with Marriott = 5M AA miles.
BTW, MYPT stock is down but the business has plenty of cash. MHO the stock is properly valuated ... was way too hyped. MHO Mypoints is not going away soon.

You may just want to hold on to the points and not make a decision based on what the stock price is doing. I have however, noticed that the MyPoints offers have started drying up. I would think going with the AS certs and then trying to trade for AA certs might be a good way to go. Or if you do any flying on AS you could work your way toward enough miles for a free domestic ticket.
