Trip to Ecuador? and receive One Pass miles
Hey, I have a great way for some of you who want to travel to Ecuador very cheaply and receive one pass miles. The only thing you do is go to Delgado Travel, an Ecuadorian owned travel agency located in most US cities (NY, LA, Chicago, Miami, etc) and book a flight with Continental, which sells discounted flights to the agency since it mostly sells to Ecuadorians. You can travel to Ecuador on CO for about 350-450 between Jan-May (Best time to visit the beaches in the COSTA region) and Jun-Aug24 450-650, then after these dates you can buy them cheaply, before december (bet. 700-850) And the rates are even better if you purchase first class tickets !
This is just one example only.. Other travel agencies similar to Delgado are JB Travel and Costamar..All the aforementioned agencies sell discounted flights to most LA countries. Hope this info helps for those of you who are planning to travel to Ecuador or somewhere else. Adios!

Be careful on this one.
Last summer I bought tix to UIO on CO through Skyauction. Posting said specifically FF accrues.
After flight spent 6 months calling and writing before I finally got credit. Kept getting rejected by computer even AFTER manuel adjustments. (flights shown but 0 mileage credit).
Took a letter to CO CEO to get it done.

I don't think anyone should worry about the travel agencies I had mentioned. I'm Ecuadorean and I buy my plane tickets with Delgado Travel, and never have a problem with CO crediting miles to the One Pass account. Yeah, I definately agree to contact the airline before you buy the ticket.
Bueno, adios..
