How stupid.. a bullet was found by a gate, causing officals to demand two aircraft on taxi to abort and return to the airport and deplane. for more info click on the link below

What's stupid is the idiot security people (or whatever they are---mutants) that missed the bullet in the first place.

Maybe now we will have to submit to pelvic and proctological exams to pass through security Who knows where the bullet came from?

Another stupid, knee-jerk response to show off our window-dressing security. Throw the bullet in the trash, slap the screeners upside their heads and GET ON WITH BUSINESS. I hope that the delayed pax file a class-action lawsuit against the "security" company and the airport itself for shamelessly wasting everyone's time, just like that guy in ATL is being sued for running thru security and shutting down the airport.

Why couldn't someone have just put the bullet in their pocket and gone about their business? I would have gone directly to the facility, wrapped it in a wad of paper towels and been done with it. GET A GRIP!

Do not blame the security setup. It would be very easy to get through with a bullet. Get a dose of reality. The current system and just about any system that allows carry on bags, including a purse or briefcase will allow a bullet to get through.

Though a bullet would be very easy, and probably happens daily, even a gun is possible. Ever look at what the xray people see on those screens?
