Possible to transfer my miles when I switch Amex cards?
I apologize if the answer to my question is already in this forum, but I have not been able to find it. I am planning on closing my Delta card, and beginning to use a Starwood card instead. I have some Delta miles that I'd like to transfer to my Starwood card. I called to ask if I could transfer the miles and the rep said that I could not transfer miles from one program to the other. Is there to do this, or is this not negotiable?

You can't transfer Skymiles out to other program/s. Period. Delta Skymiles is a one-way street. Just use them up. Since you are asking a program-specific question, Delta Skymiles Forum is a better place for it. (I've asked the mod to move it for you.
)The points you are going to earn from SPG Amex are much more flexible. Since it's been discussed extensively on the board, I am not going to reiterate the goods about SPG Amex.
