(FIRST) SIN-JED return, USD1,175 AI, Saudia

Available till 15 Jan or when they realise they made a mistake (if indeed it is a mistake, after June its 10KUSD RT). Available on Saudia website. Use ITA to find fares. Business fares similarly discounted at 900+USD RT.

Sample dates: Mar 30 - Apr 10 (with other scattered availability), seems you must travel by 15th June.

P.S. Oh and caveat emptor, Saudi is not the easiest place in the world to get a VISA of any sort, so this isn't for me (maybe after I get a few drinks in, the idea might grow on me).

P.P.S. Saudia First is a 2-2-2, 4 row config so it will be a luxurious, exclusive experience of 24 pax in FC cabin

So what's the prospect of a single woman getting a visa?

Unfortunately there is zero chance. There are no real tourist visas unless you are going with a large group of people and it is set up through a local travel agency. Business visitor visas are only granted with a certified sponsoring letter signed by a Saudi (and believe me, they check). Transit visas are "easier" but will only be given to you if you prove to them there was no other way for you to continue with your travel schedule to neighboring countries (these are basically visas only provided to you if you plan to cross via automobile). If you add the fact that you are a single woman, your chances of stepping into the KSA just got reduced by a whole lot more.

Saudia seats are not that good, food is OK and service is sub-par. It is also dry airline and always in the news for issues of woman seating next to men, etc.

All in all, not a very good deal for 99% of the people anyway.

If you don't mind Business Class, also available IST-JED/RUH-SIN/KUL rt for as low as $1193 US ai so you won't have to deal with visa issues.

Those fares (Business Value) have very limited availabilities so be flexible with dates.
