AM: Seattle (SEA) to Bogota (BOG) $514 R/T in Business

I have been tracking flights to Bogota. Right now you can book from Seattle to Bogota for $511 roundtrip in business class on AeroMexico. With 1 or 2 legs on their 787-8 with lie flat seating.

This should book into the I fare class with nets you 200% total miles earned, 150% MQM and 40% MQD for about 17,172 Redeemable miles, 12,879 MQM and 3,434 MQDs.

Dates look like to be Jan-September ecxluding Late Jun-Early August

SEA-BOG would earn 12882 MQMs 3435 MQDs 6.68 MQD Ratio
Delta Diamond members would obtain 37787 RDMs, Platinum 30917 RDMs, Gold 27482 RDMs, Silver 24046 RDMs, Base 17176 RDMs
FlyingBlue
members would obtain 78 XPs as MEX-BOG is just under 2000 miles at 1962 so 15 XPs instead of 24...

Usual caveats with AM, make sure that your BP shows your Delta number on the printed copy. Keep all receipts/eTickets/etc as these are Y-up fares and while many report no issues sometimes Delta doesn't credit automatically and having the supporting documents make things easier...

Make sure you read the threads about AM service/refunds during covid before booking.

So-so, as AM's 787-8s are 2x2x2 vs 1x2x1 on 787-9s

Even 2-2-2 lie flat for 4 hour flight is great.

I agree. Will not ever fly this airline. They changed my booking and now forcing me a 23 hour layover and still not willing to refund.
