But they do have a festive food menu. They cooked an excellent rib eye steak for me, much better than the normal, although medium was as rare as they would go. It was pink and juicy, very tasty.
And I was served a full turkey dinner on the flight from OSL yesterday from a specially printed menu. Onward flight from DOH was the usual offering.

Thanks - Happy New Year!
Cool! (and damn) I had as it turned out a very short transit in DOH yesterday. Just time for a shower and then on to London. Didn't see this around 3pm - I presume it was set up later in the evening for New Year.

DOH-NRT 5th Jan Pommery Brut Royal NV (meh, bit of a comedown from my Christmas tipples) and Taittinger Prestige Rose which I think may be a better wine, but pink isn't my bag so I didn't try it

CGK-DOH 5th January was Lallier Grand Réserve and Gosset Brut Grand Rosé. Shame as I was hoping to try the LP Rose.
It seems they have different champagnes depending on the routes now, whereas in the past it was always quite consistent?
In the AM Lounge was Lallier Grand Réserve and no Rose available.
