How to search for open jaws - google flights/ITA won't work
I am trying to look for open jaw journeys on QR. Something like IST- MIA, JFK-IST.
Google flights nor old ITA matrix is able to show them, just says no flights exist for QR
Is there another flight search engine I should be using, perhaps another oneworld has a better website to help me move dates around to get the cheapest flights for my itinerary?

I'm just going to assume that you've already checked the fare you're looking for on EF and saw that the fare rules allow open-jaws? Not all fares do.
On Matrix you can use the advanced routing codes to specify QR as the carrier. Google Flights also allows you to chose the airline or at a minimum the alliance. I've never had a problem finding open jaws on either site for countless itineraries, even ones on Matrix that aren't even bookable without a TA, but can push the fare to certain OTAs to ticket. (Meaning searching the OTA itself without the Matrix push doesn't turn up anything remotely like the fare I wanted). So my suspicion is that the fare you're looking for may not allow open-jaws. If you don't already subscribe to EF and are looking for more advanced fares / routings like this often then you should sub, but they do offer a free trial if this is a one-off.

Google will show trips sometimes, but it is always an OTA itinerary, not coming from QR directly
Thanks I will give EF a go!
