March 14 flying with UA out of HKG.

Now using the Sapphire Lounge by Gate 40. Much nicer than Plaza Premium.

The Plaza Premium First lounge has now reopened and SQ is directing all premium cabin guests and elites to this lounge, I guess they must have been getting a fair few complaints about the Plaza "Premium" lounge. Still no indication on when the SQ SKL might reopen.

Any updates on when the Singapore Airlines lounge will reopen at HKG? Any recent reports on the Plaza Premium First Lounge?

Just sitting in the "First' section of the Plaza Premium Lounge near immigration.
The F section is a small windowless dirty room in the back of the lounge. Around 12 seats. Looks like has not be cleaned for days. Smells bad.
No food/drink offering, no toilet etc. Need to go to the regular Plaza Premium lounge which is an absolte dump, completely overcrowded with disgusting food offerings.

The availability of a SilverKris Lounge certainly makes a HKG-SFO flight much more tolerable.

Time to reinstate HKG-GUM?

That's great news! Thanks for sharing. I have a trip coming up and was just getting worried about the Star Alliance lounge situation in HKG.

Do you know if your LT UC Membership will let you into the SQ HKG lounge?

It let me into the SilverKris Lounge at TPE in February 2020, but I don't have experience in HKG.
