points and charges

I am sorry if there is a thread on this. But i have a question how come earned points differ from staty to stay. Some hotels will give the point Credit to the whole amount on the FOLIO some will round up. Example just had a stay at the INDY Westin stay was nice room was good, upgrade, club lounge ETC. However my total bill was 687.87 but my point were 600 and then 1200 for the bonus plus 500. So why the difference form property to property or do I need to call Customer Service

If you have questions about how your stay was posted, you can fax a copy of your folio to Program Services and they will take a look at it. Fax number to use is 519-633-8557 or you can scan the folio and attach it to an email sent to [email protected].

Taxes (and some other incidentals) do not qualify for SPG points. If you read through their site it lists what is and isn't included.
