There are only two properties with a lounge in LA. The Sheraton Airport and the Delfina.
I honestly don't know if the properties further out have lounges.

Downtown
The Sheraton downtown has a lounge also.It is generally closed on weekends and plats are given cert's for a cont. b'fast.
There are also a few reports of the Westin at LAX having a real exec. lounge again(there is a lounge-but very limited service last time I was there)with a small breakfast selection

The Westin LAX has one too and it just had a bit of redmodeling as well. They now serve breakfast up there instead of down in the lobby.

good news about the westin lax. i know when I was there last spring, there was brand new outside management for the restaurant. There also seemed to be significant tension already between the hotel staff and the restaurant even on day 3 of service as each seemed to be blaming the other for my bad experience. I did get a very nice follow up from the restaurant manager a couple days later in response to my comment card along with a nice note in the mail with a $10 gift cert. Maybe that is what finally prompted the westin management to reopen the lounge.

The Sheraton LAX must have the worst lounge on the planet. The Delfina has a small lounge with no light but it is cosy and has a decent offering also in the evenings.

I would never ever choose a hotel based on the club lounge especially in the US. Most of them not them are not worth the space they are occupy.

Sheraton Cerritos doesn't have a lounge but gives coupons for full buffet breakfast in the main restaurant. otherwise, typical sheraton. nice, clean, friendly. free parking.

I completely agree. Stay where you want/need to be, forget the lounge offerings at your standard Sheraton. It's crunchy honeydew melon slices, cereal bars and english muffins. That's not enough to sway me in the least.

The last time I stayed at Sheraton LAX on a weekend was a few months ago, and the lounge was closed for rennovations. HOWEVER, rec'd vouchers for any appetizer from the bar's appetizer menu for the evening, and for the hotel restaurant's breakfast buffet in the morning...not bad at all.
When I've stayed there when the lounge was open/not being remodeled, the food offerings were fine.
Haven't stayed at the Westin LAX since the lounge re-open, but would think that a search of it on this forum, or for the threads that compare the LAX SPG props, would be fruitful.
Agree w/ others--depends on what you need to do & where you need to go in LA. The airport properties have a link to the Ocean Express shuttles which go down to Manhattan Beach, etc. as well as bus links up to Santa Monica & Venice.
