I think the only thing he missed out on - other than being on the same floor - is water in the room - and maybe a bathrobe. The confirmation stated i-net for a fee, so unless he was Plat it wasn't going to be free (and his not being Plat at time of stay had nothing to do w/ the property).

Speaking for myself, when I hear club floor I hope for same floor but the critical part is exec lounge access. Again, up to individuals to determine if the dif in price is worth it.

I too agree w/ you & him re: the food & reception at FT Awards at this property being quite good.

PS - Given those of you had club rooms w/ loud noises, maybe Shareholder got off lucky by not having one
