also offered 6mo Hulu Plus membership

Requalified on Thursday, received the email yesterday. Offered either the $25 SPG certificate or a 6 month Hulu Plus membership. Selected the certificate - and then recalled that I never received the $25 certificate I selected last year.

Strange - did not qualify for this promo either, after plugging in my non-US address or a US address (tried both).

Did you requalify for Platinum yet this year? That's what the gift is for. If not, try again once you've crossed 25 stays/50 nights.

I'm another that didn't receive an email when I requalified some months back. I was able to register, and it appears a cert is on its way. Thanks!

These would be for Gold and Platinum members who requalified with meeting the minimum stay/night requirements and that have a valid email address on file which is opted in to receive emails from SPG.

Thanks for the clarification Starwood Lurker!
I had qualified (fresh) for Gold this year and when I tried to sign up I got the message saying:
"Sorry, but you're not eligible for the SPG Award Certificate promotion"

Now I understand why.

Question ???

I've always selected $25, but decided to try HULU this year for apple TV. I selected it and entered the SPG code and got this:

"You are already a Hulu Plus subscriber. Since you've already had a free trial, this promotion is not available to you at this time."

So now what? I guess i tried it out when it first came out and then cancelled their free trial. Perhaps, William, you can help? Is it too late for me to go back and chose the $25?

You should just create a new account using a new e-mail address. Of course, if the promo code you received is tied to a specific e-mail address, then you might have an issue. But I have received many Hulu Plus promo codes over past few years and have just create bogus email accounts to take advantage of them.

I just re-qual'd a few days ago, and never received the E-mail. Thanks to the OP for posting the link, and thanks again to *wood for $25,- spending cash.
