I think they haven't had a doubling promotion since we have been able to earn credit for up to 3 rooms per stay.

I wouldn't want to take credit for something on false pretenses, so I have to correct this assumption and tell you that they found that on their own.

And, for the record, I won't be commenting on anything but the currently published (old) T&C's. If the T&C's change at some point in time, feel free to ask questions or ask for clarifications at that time and I'll see if I can get some answers.

It appears the new T&Cs (not sure if they are the same as those prematurely posted) will become effective October 15, 2014. Today's newsletter from The Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas has a link to the new T&Cs.
