Westin BKK - great value!
I know there's been a few reviews of Westin BKK here, but figured no harm adding my 2 cents.
In a nutshell, we had a superb 3 nites stay last week. The reservation clerks were quite young, but they knew their stuff. We were upgraded and escorted to a Deluxe Suite, which was certainly spacious. The food and beverages at the Executive Lounge was good though the breakfast selection was virtually the same on all three mornings.
If I had a wishlist for the property, it would be this:
- a rainshower in the bathroom just like at Conrad Bangkok. A true morning wake-up!
- bigger bath tubs - the ones there seem to be built for Asian statures
- a wider selection of TV choices; with a free brief preview of pay per views before deciding or not
- an espresso maker just like those at Swissotel Howard in London
- a more comfortable work space
All in all, it was a great stay at good rates
