I wouldn't say that. Even with the $5 fee my rate dropped by 40%.

Well maybe not what you would have paid but it sure eliminated mine. It was a 7 day rental and it reduced my rate by about $45 but the "fees" added another $35 back so total was only about $10.

And what about the SAMS code?

Looks like SAMS may be discontinued for next year. I tried to make a January rez and it gave me an error message. Moved the dates to November and it still worked.

Anybody know another code that might still work in 2007? Thrifty will lose some of my business without a 10% discount (admittedly, they're already my third or fourth choice -- I use them only when they're significantly cheaper).

Are IDs requested at this rate?

I just tried pretty much every code on this forum for Maui Nov 5-11 and Boston Nov 17-27, only SAMS worked for me. Cheers!

Thumbs up if you are going to Hawaii..

Try this: HT14004114

I had reserved cars for each of the ports our cruise stops at in April 2007. I had daily rates of $35-56. I used this code and got $28 for each day. So I cancelled all the old resrvations (5 od them) and made new ones. I'm a happy camper. Got the tip from someone on cruisecritic.com

Hmmm.. I tried it for an SUV out of LAX in March and it wouldn't take it. Sure you got the correct number?
It goes in the Promo# box, right?

I put itt in the corp code box. It may only be good for cars in Hawaii.

Instead of cancelling reservations, just revise them.
If the rates' higher, and you don't "book" the new one, the reservation doesn't change.

Corporate code HT14004114 just reduced me (2/5-2/12/07 HNL) from $340 to $171.
Killer code. The code says "Condo in Hawaii"

SAMS and WMRT don't work for 2007. Does anyone have any 10% off codes for 2007?

Thanks for AU11. It worked for my Jan 07 reservation in SAT. 5% off.
Didn't work for my Apr 07 reservation in SAT. Still looking...

AU11 (expires 10/28/06) was listed at evreward.com.
