Yes, it is a good deal. An ever nicer AM/FM/SW (500 presets, wider freq range) radio is the Eton E100 and it can be bought on ebay for typically $30-$50 and it is a definate upgrade from the Grundig (FWIW I believe both are made by the same company).

I am partial to the Kaito radios. You also get rechargeable batteries and an AC plug. Kaito is the largest Chinese manufacturer and given that Grundig is manufactured in China and focuses on marketing, what's the difference?
